World Cup squeeze looms Agar set for lead role

The biggest ICC Men's T20 World Cup comprised of 20 teams , will be played in 2024. The tournament will take place in USA as well as on the West Indies.

The pathway to that ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2024 in the USA and the West Indies will kick off in June with the first group of qualifying tournaments from Europe. This marks the start of the journey towards the biggest Men's T20 World Cup, which will be a record-breaking 20 teams.

Eight teams in the top 8 at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia along with the hosts USA and West Indies will automatically qualify for the marquee event in 2024.
